![]() ![]() I have a MBP 2021 as a primary device since upper-year application programming in my university is largely platform agnostic. If you're going to be doing an assembly course, it's probably x86 (unless it's some new curriculum exploring RISC-V) and it probably won't work on the newer Macs. ![]() Newer macOS is not going to have the same native support for everything, although Rosetta 2 is good enough for some situations. Windows + WSL is built on existing huge support for x86-64 applications. ![]()
